Little Innocence

Warning!
The images you are about to see may cause; excessive smiling, the occasional “Aww” moment, and of course, that warm feeling that you get inside whenever you see something that’s just downright adorable…
By the way, these are those new kittens I was talking about.
I thought it was so cute that the kitten fell asleep in the flower pot. Almost as if I were growing kittens…

You can’t tell but this is the same girl from the first picture.

I just put this one in because I think baby cows are the cutest…

I had the pleasure recently to be able to take some baby pictures for some good friends of mine. And here’s just a few of them…

This one just screams “Thinking of you” like maybe for a card or something…

This is just a random kid I happened to see at a western event I went to recently…

This here is one of the cutest little girls I’ve ever met…

I couldn’t decide which of these next two pictures I liked the most, because they both involved being in the right place at the right time, and they both needed a bit of editing to make them look even better (one more so than the other). So, I’ve decided to let you, the viewers, pick which one you like best…

Pro 4:1-2  Children, listen to the discipline of a father, And give attention to know understanding;
For I gave you good instruction: Do not forsake my Torah.
This is one of my favorite proverbs *sigh*. I have it high-lighted in my Scriptures and I just thought that it was very appropriate for this post.
On a side note, this may be the last post for awhile, or at least until after the FEAST! (Can you tell I’m excited?) But I’m hoping to come back with lots of new pictures to share. :D

The 23rd Psalm

I am like so excited right now, because I had this idea awhile back to put pictures to the 23 psalm, which just  so happens to probably be my favorite psalm, and now I’m finally finished! It was a long and frustrating process, but I think it was well worth it. So without further ado, I give you, The 23rd Psalm!

יהוה is my shepherd; I do not lack.

He makes me to lie down in green pastures;

He leads me beside still waters.

He turns back my being;

He leads me in paths of righteousness For His Name’s sake.

When I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I fear no evil.

For You are with me;

Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.

You spread before me a table in the face of my enemies;

You have anointed my head with oil;

My cup runs over.

Only goodness and kindness follow me All the days of my life;

And I shall dwell in the House of יהוה, To the length of days!

If you have any questions about this post or any of the pictures on it, please leave a comment and I’ll try and answer it for you.

Shalom to all!

Kittens!

A little over three weeks ago, my cat, Kisses, had kittens.
Now I’m sure your all just waiting to see all the cute kitten pictures I have in store for you, and believe me I’ll get to that, but I just have to tell you the story of how my cat got her name in the first place.

Ahem, *clears throat* (I don’t know why I just did that, I’m not even talking) Anyway. Now I’ve had my cat since she was basically zero, but because her momma is an outdoor cat, we didn’t find her until she was over a week or two old. Even though she was just one of five kittens born, she immediately took a liking to me and I knew I wanted to keep her. But, I was having trouble coming up with a name for her, so one day while I was holding her trying to think of one, she climbed straight up my shirt and began licking my chin. And I knew right then that I would call her Kisses, and I think I even said it out loud. *sigh* ah memories... Anyway, back to the main story.
My cat had kittens over three week ago, and because she’s an outdoor cat we didn’t find them until just a few days ago, sound familiar, anyway she had five of them, that we know of, and they are so Adorable! Sadly though, they’re not as active as I’d like so I don’t have a lot of pictures of them. Yet! But I can show you these.
Three of them look like this…
we call them the triplets…

And the other two look like this one...

Now the rest of these pictures are from the same momma, but from a different litter. But don’t worry, their just as adorable...
Oh, and I’m trying out some new watermarks, let me know what you think.

In this next one, our other cat Susie, wanted to get in on the fun…
And in this one she was playing a little too rough with one of them...
“Hey, quit biting my head!”

In this next one the majestic kitten stalks the wild plastic dinosaur…

The dinosaur is no match for the kittens super skills…

And now for the not so brave kitten, that came across the great plastic beast…

This one’s playing hide and seek…
“How come I’m the one that always has to count”

And this last ones my favorite, because it’s just one of those picture perrrrrrfect moments…

Be sure and comment on which watermark you like best, and which picture it’s on. I was even thinking that I could have two of them; one for more of the playful pictures, and another one for the more serious pictures. What do you think?

Shalom to all!

Answer!

For all who were curious; the last picture to my last post was in fact the St. Louis Arch.

Now, if you know me at all, you’d know that I’m not a city person. I’m more of what you’d call a country girl, or at least more that, then a city slicker. However, I did find myself in St. Louis a few months back, and of course we went to the Arch, and of course I had to take a bunch of pictures. But not surprisingly, I had more fun taking pictures in the park around the Arch, then of the Arch it’s self.
Although you do have to admit it is pretty spectacular…

You may see a resemblance between this next picture, and the first one of my last post…
you can’t tell, but the river was so high when I was there, that there was a whole other level of walk ways that was under water, and all you can see was just the top railing.

This one I took of my sister just walking around in the grass…

I love the trees in this next one…
 I really like this picture, but I wanted to see how it would look with a little bit of editing…
Cool Right!

Artistic Points in Life

  As most of you probably know by now I’m not much of a writer (otherwise I would post a lot more), but I am trying to get better at it. Noticed how I phrased it “I am”, much more proper don’t you think? Anyway, I just figured that most of you are here for my pictures, so I’ll quit beating myself up for no reason and just give it to you short and sweet. I like taking pictures, I like sharing them around, and I like peanut butter, although I’m not sure what that has to do with anything. Anyway, I give you… “Artistic Points in Life”
  I thought of turning this first one into black & white but it just didn’t look as good, and I’m not sure why…

  When I took this next picture I knew I was going to turn it into a sepia tone, and I think it makes it look a lot better…

  This next one I actually took inside a museum…

  This one’s cool because I took it when it was dark out, so the time exposure took longer, which made the water look like it was moving…

  Now this last one I like to call “Highway to heaven” or “Space highway” which ever you prefer. Oh, and see if you can guess what it is…

Shalom to all
