Answer!

For all who were curious; the last picture to my last post was in fact the St. Louis Arch.

Now, if you know me at all, you’d know that I’m not a city person. I’m more of what you’d call a country girl, or at least more that, then a city slicker. However, I did find myself in St. Louis a few months back, and of course we went to the Arch, and of course I had to take a bunch of pictures. But not surprisingly, I had more fun taking pictures in the park around the Arch, then of the Arch it’s self.
Although you do have to admit it is pretty spectacular…

You may see a resemblance between this next picture, and the first one of my last post…
you can’t tell, but the river was so high when I was there, that there was a whole other level of walk ways that was under water, and all you can see was just the top railing.

This one I took of my sister just walking around in the grass…

I love the trees in this next one…
I really like this picture, but I wanted to see how it would look with a little bit of editing…
Cool Right!

Artistic Points in Life

As most of you probably know by now I’m not much of a writer (otherwise I would post a lot more), but I am trying to get better at it. Noticed how I phrased it “I am”, much more proper don’t you think? Anyway, I just figured that most of you are here for my pictures, so I’ll quit beating myself up for no reason and just give it to you short and sweet. I like taking pictures, I like sharing them around, and I like peanut butter, although I’m not sure what that has to do with anything. Anyway, I give you… “Artistic Points in Life”
I thought of turning this first one into black & white but it just didn’t look as good, and I’m not sure why

When I took this next picture I knew I was going to turn it into a sepia tone, and I think it makes it look a lot better…

This next one I actually took inside a museum…

This one’s cool because I took it when it was dark out, so the time exposure took longer, which made the water look like it was moving…

Now this last one I like to call “Highway to heaven” or “Space highway” which ever you prefer. Oh, and see if you can guess what it is…

Shalom to all

Four Moons, a Sunset, and Peppers?

First off, sorry y’all that I haven’t posted in awhile but I’ve been kind of sick for the last couple of days, and I’m going to use that as my excuse for not posting anything within the last couple of weeks. :)
Well anyway since its New Moon I figured I should probably post something about that, (hints part of the title) but sadly I only have a hand full of good moon pictures,
so don’t freak out if a few random pictures find their way into this post (hints the rest of the title).
This one was kind of tricky because I had to take two pictures to make it work; one with the moon in focus, and the other with the trees in focus, and then I had to merge them together.
And I did the same thing with this one too because I wanted there to be stars in the background.

The reason the moon looks like that is because I took it during a full lunar eclipse so the moon was kind of glowing a reddish orange color.
This next one I thought was cool because it kind of looked like the sun, even though it is the moon.
  This one is the sun.
I had been taking a series of pictures as the sun was setting and the flock of geese just happened to fly in the way as it was time to take the next picture, and I thought it was so cool.
This last picture has absolutely nothing to do with anything, except for maybe the title.
Rosh Chodesh Samaech!
or "Happy New Moon”
