A Picture Worth A Thousand Words

I have this picture that I took a few of years back and I wanted to find a scripture verse to go with it, so I did! And even though it’s a short one I think it fits well.
Isa 41:13  “For I, יהוה your Elohim, am holding your right hand, saying to you, ‘Do not fear, I shall help you.’
Now even though this verse fits pretty well with the picture I don’t think it fits as well with the story. You see before my Grandma died she and my Grandpa came to live at our house for her final days, and I believe it was within a month of her passing when I took this picture.

I can remember walking into their room and seeing my grandpa sitting by her bedside just holding her hand and keeping her company. And I can’t be sure, but I don’t even think that they were talking to each other, because for one; my grandma couldn’t anymore because of a stroke, and for two; even if my grandpa wanted to talk, neither one of them could have heard it anyway since they were both almost ninety at the time. So I guess it’s just one of those cases were actions speak louder than words.
I took this picture with a video camera, so the quality was really grainy; although you wouldn’t know it because I spent some time on my computer editing it until I was able to make it look as good as it is.
Before…
After…
Although it is not their right hands that their holding, I still think the verse works for it. If I wanted to I could probably find a thousand words that would go well with this picture, but instead here are just a few other verses I was thinking about using. Maybe you’ll think one of them fits better…
Psa 91:1-4  He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High, Who abides under the shadow of the Almighty,
He is saying of יהוה, “My refuge and my stronghold, My Elohim, in whom I trust!”
For He delivers you from the snare of a trapper, From the destructive pestilence.
He covers you with His feathers, And under His wings you take refuge; His truth is a shield and armour.
Pro 4:23  Watch over your heart with all diligence, For out of it are the sources of life.
Joh 15:13  “No one has greater love than this: that one should lay down his life for his friends.
We actually had a picture frame with this last verse on it and I put the picture in it and gave it to my grandpa, and he said he really liked it, so maybe it would have been a better verse.
Well that’s it for now, and I’m sure if my grandma had seen this, she would agree that this picture is worth a thousand words.

Fixing a Fence Fiasco

I recently Finished Fencing in our garden so that my Friendly horses could Finally come home. Now For some of you Fencing may seem like a hard Feat, but the Fact is, it’s rather Fun, although I don’t have the time to explain how because this story is about to get Fairly Funny.
Now I mentioned my Friendly horses, but one of them For instance, happens to be rather Frisky.
This Fine looking male can run very Fast if he wants to, almost as if he were Flying.
But un-Fortunately this Fine Frisky horse Feels that he Fancies the Fruitful pasture he was just in, instead of the Fully Filled Field, called our property.
So when I woke up this morning I was Fairly Fine, but soon after, my Fears were confronted when I Found that my overly Frisky horse had Flown the coop, and that his Foolishness had left him with some “Fingerprints” From the Fence.
(this picture really doesn’t have anything to do with the story; I just thought it looked cool)
Faking like I had grain, I convinced my “Free” horse to Follow me back through the Fence.
(This picture might look Familiar, so don’t Freak out, because it is)
Feeling somewhat of a Failure I Fixed my horse’s cuts and Fed him some real grain so he wouldn’t Flip out on me, then Foreseeing that he might Flee again, I tried to Find where he Fled in the First place.
(Doesn’t he look Funny in this?)
Frustrated that I couldn’t Figure out how or where he jumped the Fence, I Focus on the Future and Fixed the whole Fence so that it’s Functional for my Fine Frisky, and somewhat of a Fuss-budget, horse. And Fortunately so Far, there are no more Fatal Fence Fiascoes.
Is it just me, or is there something suspicious about this somewhat of a small sentence in this semi silly story that still seems to be stretching itself out so that it can stand up to these strange circumstances? Sorry about that; ran out of F’s.
This last Picture is a little Fuzzy but it’s also in Focus so I thought it would make a Fantastic Finish.
Far-out, Right!?

Too Many Flowers!

I think flowers make great photo topics, more so now because it’s spring, but also because they tend to speak out to you whenever you walk by one as if they’re inviting you to come over and take a closer look…I don’t know… maybe I’m just trying to sound all philosophical when the truth of the matter is I just have Too Many Flower pictures I want to show.
Anyway I suppose I’ll kick this off with a couple of tulips that I took recently… Course I didn’t literally take the tulips I mean I just took pictures of them, I mean to literally take tulips that would be kind of hard, you know having to dig them up and all that… anyway you knew what I meant, so I’ll just stop now and show you the pictures.
As you can tell I did a lot of enhancement on my computer with these pictures.
And now for some Roses…
Now after looking at this last one I decided that I wanted to enhance it in different ways…
It turned out looking really cool, right? But I wanted to go even further and try something new, or at least new to me…
Awesome Right!
Okay moving along, here are some other pictures I took while just walking around…
Well I’d better stop myself now  before I end up showing you all of my flower pictures, which by the way would take days, and just leave you with this last one. Enjoy!

Fun With Lasers

I was messing around with the time exposure setting on my camera and I realized that using a laser I could draw stuff on my wall…
See!
I know it kind of looks like I just drew something on a blank picture, but I can assure that I didn’t.
These next ones were supposed to be fireworks but I think they look more like trees…
This next one is a person… as you can tell…

This one speaks for itself… Literally!
I tried to write the alphabet but as you can see I barely made it past G…

Can you guess what this is?
Comment and tell me what you think. Maybe one of you will get it right?
